Adorable illustrations -- the picture of Sunny with her little string bag is worth buying the book just for that! My oldest cat came from a shelter, and was also given up because his owner went into a nursing home. What a wonderful idea and adorable stories to tug at the hearts
This book was inspired by Sunny and Lucy, two small shelter cats whose uniquely opposite personalities speak volumes about their past. What they had in common, though, was the need for a safe and loving place to call home. It is our hope that each story in this book will raise awareness about the responsibilities of pet ownership and encourage readers to open their hearts and their homes to shelter pets.
